Research
Research and creation as core functions.
Hemingway University treats inquiry and creative production as central to learning and to the institution itself.
Research philosophy
Research and creation are not end-stage activities reserved for a few. They are central modes of learning: writing, software, design, art, experimentation, models, and publication are all ways of coming to understand a field.
The institution’s research is intended to be interdisciplinary where questions demand it, and disciplinary where rigor requires it.
